Carson Schambach focuses his specialty practice primarily in the Energy industry, serving as trusted counsel to energy, oil and gas, and mineral-related clients. He is highly astute in transactional matters, including oil and gas drilling title opinions, supplemental title opinions, due diligence, surface use issues, and title curative. Carson has handled closings in large-scale oil and gas transactions, negotiated and structured purchase and sale agreements, and has performed mineral title examinations and heirship reports across the Appalachian Basin. Additionally, he has experience in providing both full-scope commercial and residential real estate services. He regularly assists clients with negotiating, drafting, and reviewing business formations, contracts, and service agreements.
Before joining Atencio Hall, PLLC, Carson worked as an associate at a law firm in West Virginia, where he focused on counseling energy, oil and gas, and mineral-related clients on transaction matters and litigating mineral-related quiet title actions in both West Virginia and Ohio. He is an active member of the West Virginia Bar Association and Ohio Bar Association.
