Malika Fields embraces challenges with a pragmatic, solutions-based approach. Her practice strengths include mineral and surface rights, oil and gas and solar leases, title work, commercial real estate, and transactional issues. Malika reviews property records to draft original and supplemental title opinions for clients. She prepares easement, right-of-way, purchase and sale, and similar agreements for real estate transactions. Malika also provides curative assistance for current and prospective lease units. Additionally, she researches and provides updates on various regulatory procedures and other client-focused issues.
Before joining Atencio Hall, PLLC, Malika held in-house legal internships with a utility company in the Regulatory Department and a large oil and gas midstream corporation; and she presented Environmental, Social, Governance: Streamlining ESG Requirements and Codifying Environmental Justice Principles (November 2021). Malika is an enlisted member of the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
