Based on a wealth of industry experience, Pete Patsakis offers a uniquely seasoned command of energy-related issues, specifically title and property development and related transactions involving mineral rights, oil and gas and solar, and commercial real estate. His practice focuses on supporting the siting and development of energy generation projects and the acquisition, sale, or trade of assets, with an emphasis on title examination and curative, property development rights, ongoing operational matters, and transactional due diligence. In addition, Pete has extensive experience related to energy contract matters, including lease and easement agreements, purchase and sale agreements, collateralization of assets, unitization documentation, and curative and other industry-specific operation and maintenance-related agreements.
Previously, Pete worked as in-house counsel at a leading energy company assisting with title review, curative matters, and due diligence. This perspective helps him navigate the complexities of land use and development deals, creating a distinct advantage for his clients. A champion of community service, he is active in supporting AAPL, Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, and Westmoreland County Food Bank. Pete is also a professor at Allegheny County Community College.
